1st Chevy ever

FeelTheThunder -> 1st Chevy ever (4/30/2008 7:41:19 PM)

After over 25 years of Ford trucks (my last 4 new) I just bought a Chevy. My last Ford was an ordered loaded Lariat SCab and this Chevy is an ordered loaded LTZ SCab with the 6.0 litre. It's missing a few things from my Ford but has lots of other benefits. I just picked it up today, it was late getting here as there was some axle strike somewhere. Stainless steel mud flaps from Grainmaster are waiting to come in.

Love the power & the steering, can you get a tuner for these things and will the clyinder deactivation still work? Shifting could be a little better but I guess it has to learn my habits and I am not used to it. Exit button with the seat going back is pretty cool along with the DIC.

Options include:
Safety, Z71, LT tires, StabiliTrak, sunroof, power sliding rear, wide mirrors, spray-in liner. I screwed up and didn't get the tailgate package as I thought it was standard (It is on all Ford's since 04)

I think the only thing the truck is missing appearance wise is some wheel lip mouldings
