just from the title.
there issues with gas and the higher levels of sulfur.
it builds up in the tank and on the level sending units resistor.
its what causes the erratic readings. since it cant read the proper resistance- you see that as a funny acting gas gauge.
try running a bottle or 2 of TECHRON FUEL SYSTEM cleaner. (make sure the bottle says it helps with SULFUR buildup).
see if that helps. if it doesnt- then time to replace the level sender.
if it fails to help correct the problem, at least its cleaned the fuel injectors and valves.
