1. Is there a way to hook your own cell phone to use the bluetooth in the truck? 2. Can you play DVD's on the front screen? 3. The XM is really clunky...anyone done anything about that? Seems sometimes it "sticks" and wont let you search. 4. What (if any) nice mods are out there? Power, looks, etc? Any good websites/idea sites/etc? Thanks all :) Jeff

First off, Welcome to the site! Is your truck an '08 LTZ? If so these answers pertain to it. I have an '08 LTZ and this is what I have learned about it already.... 1) I dont know of any bluetooth in the truck. 2)To play a DVD on the front screen, you need to be in "park" and it will play. You cannot have a dvd play on the front nav screen if you are in drive or reverse...its a driver restriction. 3)By clunky, do you mean when your driving you cannot switch between channels and so on? If so its a driver restriction which is built in. 4) No clue

Yea, theres no bluetooth in the vehicle from factory. It is possible to add an aftermarket one to it though...

I'm not sure. Sorry. I do know that if you have onstar and a verizon cell phone, you can add a new line and activate it on the onstar system for hands free calling. It just like having another phone, but permantly in the truck.

Thanks all for the welcome and the comments. Seems to me there "has" to be a way to add bluetooth from whatever carrier. I have AT&T, and would love to be able to use the hands free while driving. Thanks for the info on the DVD player...I'll have to go be a nerd and try that :) As for the clunky feeling in the XM radio, just seems to be difficult getting the menu set correctly, or to see all the channels (scrolling) sometimes.

If you want the Bluetooth Phone connection integrated with the on-star equipment (i.e. to use the microphone & stereo speakers) you need to go to www.coastaletech.com Otherwise, you can get a good bluetooth setup installed form many manufacturers. The best are the Motorola & Parrot units.
