Hi, I'm new here and I did some searching but didn't find the answer I was looking for.
My girlfriend has a 2004 Malibu and the passenger side mirror is broken, I have a whole replacement mirror including housing, etc, it's electric. I tried to replace it but it looks like the wiring goes far into the door and I could not access it without trying to take off the door panel.
Now my question is, how do I remove the door panel so I can access the wiring to disconnect the old mirror and connect the new one? I was afraid of breaking clips and stuff so I didn't get very far. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
