Hey, I just bought a used 2004 Chevy Silverado, 32,000 miles, V6 4.3L.
When I stop I hear a low thud, like the driveshaft is hitting somthing, or the transmision is droping, It always happens when im stoping around when I hit 5-10 MPH.
I have this thing with the dealership where if anything goes wrong within like 30 days I can bring it back and get it repaired for free. Ide like to have an idea of what might be going on beofre I go there and start listing problems.

sounds kinda like ujoints to me.

My aunt said ujoints, whitch isnt that expensive to reapir or replace.

Had similiar problem but only when going up a hill ... changed differential fluid...no more problem! [;)]
