My 2004 Venture is making horrible sounds when the A/C fan is on. It first started with the lower speed switch setting (1, 2 and 3) but now is squeaking and vibrating the whole van. Unfortunately I gave my factory shop manual away with our 1999 Venture when I sold it so I need to know how to replace the blower motor in my 2004. Does anyone have any insight or instruction on how to best replace my front blower motor in my 2004 Venture? Thanks

If the blower motor is making a vibrating and making a lot of noise, then the fan was probably out of balance at one time and has probably ruined the motor by now. No need to check the resister since the fan works but is just making noise. start by taking off the passenger side hush panel under the dash. Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the 3 7mm screws and the motor should fall out. the pics above show the motor under the hood, don't look there cause you won't find it...the motors do look similar though.

Shawn and Rabbit, I will check both. I am pretty sure that it is the motor alone. However if I am in there replacing the motor I will probably replace the resistor as well. Thanks for the detailed information. It will make the process much easier.
