Welcome to the forum!!! I asked a while back about what kind of chip I should use and got no response, So don't be surprised if no one responds, but hang in there anyways.

i have heard that bully dog is pretty awsome for the duramax. but it depends on what you want: Max power all the time, or max power that can be used while towing.

even though i dont really like my hypertech for my gas motor, the ones for the diesels seem to be quite a bit better. plus you can tow on stage three.

unfortunatley my uncle sold his 03 duramax before we had a chance to put a programmer on it. let us know what you get and how good it is.

good luck

check into the edge chips, ive seen some dyno results that show that they put out a little more than the others, plus you can program them to cut out at certain temps and when the tranny starts to slip

I have an Edge programmer on my 02 Duramax. It makes alot of difference.
If you want to learn everything there is to know about Duramax diesels, go to Dieselplace.com. You can read about programmers and add ons until your eyes fall out.

i have a hypertech on my gas engine and its ok.  i have heard a lot of good about bully for diesels, there was an episode on pinks with a dodge and it was a bad ass truck.  from what i remember all they do is diesel i also saw them on horsepower and the guys were pretty impressed.
