Moved the post to the S-10 section because Blazers are on the s-10 platform. Firstly, if you are going with a Blazer over a Suburban for better fuel economy, you aren't stepping up much unless you get a 2wd. I get 17 mpg city and 23 highway with mine and thats with a CAI and aftermarket exhaust system. I've heard of some people, albeit with bigger tires, getting even worse mileage. As far as reliability goes, its like with any vehicle, they way it will hold up depends largely on how the previous owner maintained it and what problems he patched but didn't address properly. ZR2 is an off-roading package that features a higher trim level, a different gear ratio, and a rear wheelbase equivalent to the front.
