i am replacing my factory fog lights on my 2000 z-71 and can't figure out how to remove the air dam to gain access to the light brackets.
is it simple or do i have to pay a mechanic?

Welcome to the forum!!! Should be just a couple of screws or bolts holding it on, unless GM changed the design.

I looked at pictures on google images and that looks to be the same body style as mine I have a 2002 and I didnt have to take anything off to get to my fog lights I just turned the wheel and reached in and pulled the electrical connector off and replaced the bulb and put the electrical connector on.  Hope that helps
