i have a 00 silverado 2500 6.0 and im having a real problem..when i drove the truck it ran fine for about 2 months... before i drove it i replaced the plugs,o2 sensors and fuel filter.
well now for some reason if the truck sits overnight and i go to drive it it will run fine and longs as its running. But as soon as i turn the truck off and go into the store or anything and turn it back on the truck will run really rough. i have a Mac code reader and only thing that is comming up is random misfire. if i drive the truck while its running rough after about 1-5 mins all of a sudden it will run fine and will continue to run fine untill it's shut off and turned back on again. this has been very confusing as i replaced the cats/gutted them,replaced the right side coil pack all 4.
When it runs rough the missfire meter says its 2-4-6-8 and sometimes #3 will come up.
i cant afford to bring it into the dealer nor internet access all the time so if anyone can help me call me after 9pm central time on my cell (763)772-7086 leave me a message please if i dont answer.
i have to get this fixed because this is myt work truck.
