So do you surmise that the magnet is not able to alter the molecular composition of Ethanol?

I don't really surmise anything.  I don't believe that the molecular composition is changed in any way.  I'm just sharing what I noticed from my driving.  I don't know why, I don't care why, I just know and I'm sharing that for some reason my MPG has improved, but only when I'm using E10 and not when I'm using E85.  Personally, whether it is the magnets or the way I'm driving, I'm not regretting the change because I've already saved a good $40 because of the improved MPG on E10.

In the interest of science, why don't you try a few tankfuls w/o the magnets?

I actually plan on putting them on my wife's car without her knowing.  Then monitoring that one...  That way, I would know that driving habits aren't being changed.

However, I've been practicing many hypermiling techniques for well over a year now...  Basically, anything that is safe and legal in my area.  That's how I improved my initial 13mpg when I first got the tahoe to almost 15mpg before I installed the magnets.  Now I'm at just around 16mpg..  sometimes just above, sometimes just below.

I spent the last two months attending some desert training in Yuma, AZ.  I cut my fuel cost in half...I started filling up in Mexico.

What's the wait like at the San Luis border now days?
Too long a line to make it worth while in San Diego/Tijuana, but I did pick up some chrome curb feelers on my last trip south of the boarder.
