I recently bought a cobalt ls 4 door and well plan to upgrade some aspects of it. My first plan is to get rid of the stock muffler to get as everyone calls it a "soup can" muffler. I need some suggestions on this because i dont wanna pay over 250 for it all. If you've got good suggestions on what i should buy please post on here thanks

Is there any wires going to the muffler? I think there is a sensor or something in it... anyway, if you are not looking to spend too much, you can buy a weld-on muffler that you can put in place of your stocker like this on

I believe there are wires on it but im not doing it myself of course cause im sure id messed it up. Do you happen to know if at all ill gain any horsepower or torque?
