hi...I have a 1997 chevy 1500 1/2 ton 350 vortech.. little over 2 weeks ago my fuel pump went out, I replaced it along with new plugs, air filter and oil change. it ran perfect for first few days...then I started it and drove it about 15 miles....turned it off and it wouldnt start.. let it set for about 15 min .. then it started.like it was flooded..drove it another 50 miles did the same thing...let it set and started...when i got my destination about 100 miles from there ..it started everytime after that....yesterday started it and tried to drive it but everytime i give it gas it boggs down to where it wont hardly run..in idle it runs perfect...if i give it gas slowly it will pick up rpm's but only to 2000 then it boggs down...if i try to rev it up it boggs down to where it will die if i keep on..I change fuel filter and still same thing......any help would be appriecated......thanks

There is an issue with fuel pumps failing quickly if the wire connector is damaged or not also replaced at the time the pump is changed.
