Wisconsinite 06 malibu - 4/1/2008 9:56:09 PM    edmalibu83   Posts: 12 Joined: 4/1/2008 Status: offline Hi, Just recently purchased an 06 Chev malibu with about 40K miles. I hope with the updated designs and engineering that it will less cost of ownership than my grand am was. I love the car but the dealership not so much but its all good. But my malibu is in the shop for a minor repair on behalf of the dealership and they gave me an 07 with the VVT engine and holy man it has more spunk the the regular 3.5L. It wasnt a gm dealer, some local used dealer... gave me a kickin deal. ha, gave me 5,090 dollar trade in value for my '90 cavalier!! that thing wasnt worth 500 bucks!
