I recently bought a 93 cavilier to run back and forth to work in. My problem is the fan motor runs but there isnt any air coming out. I think that there must be a blockage someware, but where should i look?

If your fan isn't hard to get to it may be easier to take the fan out and see if the blades are turning. Just hold it kinda tight and trun it on low first.

I have same problem with our 93 cav. Blower Sounds like it picks up speed on all 4 setings. Air will change from floor to dash to defrost. But there is very little air from any vent. I pulled the blower out and the fan looks fine, I didn't think to run it while it was out. Nothing blocking the hole blower fits in. Is there a filter some where in the heater box? T.C.

Their may be but I think it would be where the blower is pulling air from to put thru the vents.

vacuum from the engine opens and closes the mode doors

it might be the actual sloenoid tho

I think beckeruti is probably right about the vaccum poblem. Thats what I will be checking next. I wish I could find a diagram of the vac system. Could be hard to figure out with out taking to the dealer. I'll let you know if I find Something. T.C.
