i have an 02 chevy impala thats leaking fluid which i believe is water from the manifold, i took it to the shop and the estimate they gave me was $650, i just wanted to know if that was around the average price to have this procedure done, or if they are trying to take advantage of me, because i'm a female and dont know much about cars.

The average at the shop I used to work at was from $500-$600 and our labour rate was $55/hr. the dealer usually quoted around $700-800.
So they don't sound like they are taking advantage of you
