I have a 1st gen 350 I am rebuilding and need to select the head gasket , I see you can get head gaskets with cylinder holes to 4.200 but you cant bore it that big so why? the bore on my engine is 4.030 and I am using a aluminum head , how to you go about selecting the hole size for the gasket ? I know to select the proper thickness to get the quench .
