security alarm? - 3/28/2008 7:31:00 AM    northey87 Posts: 927 Joined: 10/17/2007 Status: online I want to install an alarm on my '95 1500, the problem is I don't know wheather I need a GM bypass module to install one. does any body know? Doorlock wires can be found in the drivers kick panel.....light blue for lock and white for unlock....both positive pulse. The doorpin wire can be found at the light switch harness...purple wire negative trigger (in reply to northey87) Post #: 3

So I will need the bypass for my truck? I asked the dealer a while back what it would cost to replace one of my keys and they said it would be like $10. I have almost completed installing the alarm the one of the annoying things it doing is when I disable the alarm and the running lights come on, so does the buzzer. It should be a rectangular plastic box at the fuse panel near your left foot. Just pull it out. (in reply to northey87) Post #: 8
