I have a 1999 Chevy Express 1500 cargo van. I was driving it today and the engine just quit and now it will just turn over but will not start with the fuel gage pegged past full. And Yes,The alternator checks out good along with the battery. Any ideas why,Thanks

my van has this same problem. it is a year 2000 model 2500 5.7 V8, the problem is that you ran out of gas.

my needle is stuck on full because the device that is in the tank that reads the fuel is broken.

it costs 500 to fix it. I go to the gas station 3 times a week for top offs instead of fixing it.
