ORIGINAL: EuroGoldLS Assuming Celsius and N/m, I'm almost sure you have a failed intake manifold gasket. yep manifold gasket is what i would say also. mine cracked on me last year and fluid was coming out near the trany. those gaskets are plastic and the factory ones are the worst about cracking/breaking. the one you replace it with should be better and last a long time. if you decide to do the work yourself, make sure you torque your bolts right, cause that can turn into another problem real fast..they also put these "plastic" gaskets on alot of 5.7/350 engines as well. to get this fixed it was $312.00 for me.

Thanks for the info. I was looking in to either the intake manifold or head gasket as my problem with the recurring low coolent. The price gies me an idea of what I may need to spend on solving this problem.
