It seems like there is a bad connection to the antenna (which is built into the windshield). The CD works fine, as do AM stations, but FM cuts out for a millisecond a few times a minute (sounds like a CD that skips). This happens whether the car is moving or not, or engine running or not. Any ideas? Should I look for loose antenna connections...or go to the dealer 'cause I'm still under full warranty. Vic

Check the snap on the rear window, make sure it is clean and snug. also make sure there are no breaks in the grid. You might also check the bolt holding the antenna module to the roof too see if it is tight. It is just above the headliner near the rear window. You don't have aftermarket window tint do you? that will contribute to poor reception with on glass antennas.

I dont think they are built into the windshield....mine is not anyhow it is an 06 MAXX ss, but it is on the roof,

Only the malibu maxx's have a fixed mast.....the sedans have it on the rear window
