whats these lights for?

okay i feel absolutly stupid for asking this. but here goes. the other night when i was driving home i hit my bright lights. and the road did get a bit brighter, but i thought it should have been more than what it was. so now its 5:30am and i was just outside smoking a cig, i had my keys on me, so i turned on the lights, and hit the brights, and the two uppers did in fact get brighter. now looking at the picture i posted with this thread. the lights with the arrows pointing to them didnt come on... at all, even with the key in the ignition, they arent blinkers, i didnt try the hazzards though, and probably should have.. so what are they? are they part of the hazzard lights? or are they blown? and if they are, whats the likelyhood that both are blown out? it might be a fuse i'm thinking... any thoughts welcome, and if you want to tease me for asking this question, i'm cool with that, as long as i get an answer:) cheers[image]http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/1739/picture038as8.jpg[/image]

running lights maybe? they run during the day.

they are your running lights

Im pretty sure they are DRL's

they are definately your daytime running lights, my buddy has the same truck and headlight setup

Running lights- they dont come on until you shift into gear so if your truck is sitting in park nothing comes on, and if you put your ebrake on with your truck in drive that turns them off too. If you want to see them on you'll have to put it in drive and run really fast in front of your truck [:)]!!!!

mine are not DRL, but instead operate as my perimeter lighting
