my impala won't run... - 3/22/2008 12:46:10 AM    mandara43   Posts: 1 Joined: 3/22/2008 Status: offline we think the fuel pump went on it, we tried putting a fuel filter on it, but now it won't start at all, at first it was fine, then it sputtered and died, we got it started, but it died again, it is acting like it is not getting fuel, and now it sound like it is trying to backfire, with the new filter on it, and it won't start at all.. we do have air coming out of the muffler so we don't think it is the cad. converter.... can you help or have sugestion??? _____________________________ mandara43 Post #: 1

RE: my impala won't run... - 3/26/2008 12:05:28 AM    mandara43   Posts: 1 Joined: 3/22/2008 Status: offline yes thank you for your help, it was starting then die, then I would wait just like you said, and it would then start and die again...but now after we put the new fuel filter in I can't get it to start at all, and it just sounds like it is trying to back fire or burp...
