I have an 84 z28 with a 305 ho. so far all ive done is put on an edelbrock performer intake. i want more power, Ive been lookin at different cams in summitracing.com but dont know which one is what I is good. I plan on installing headers and a cold air intake. in simple words..I want to get at least 300hp from my engine, or that even possible with my 305?

Ok first, do you know what your doing? Second, you got a 305 which you shouldn't do anything with. Third, If you do know what your doing; go to a junk yard, pick up a 350 for a hundred bucks and a turbo 350 (tranny) for two hundred bucks and trust me, you will get the balls your looking for. The only good thing about a 305 is you can interchange parts with a 350.
