I have an 05 & an 07 uplander, both have developed a hard rattle in the rear. The axel bushings were replaced on both so we thought it was cured, ..... for about 20 miles and back again. The " microphone check" can't find anything. Anyone have the same prob?? And why do the headlights and dash lights flicker when I speed up slightly?? Thanks, Mike

Had this problem on an 03 Venture. Was driving me crazy. Turned out to be the parking brake cable adjuster bracket near middle of rear axle was rattling on the axle when going over bumps. With time the cable gets some slack in it . I put a piece of that foam plumbing insulation for copper pipes over the parking brake bracket, and held in place with a couple of nylon ties and/or some electrical tape wrapped around it. Worked for me. No more rattle. Cable can rattle against axle even if you do adjust the slack out of it.
