Hey everyone, another forum newbie here. Just have to ask a question, don't want to get in trouble.

I've been reading posts here, and I've noticed quite a few people here have access to GM's technical information, as I do. I work at GM, and as such, am wondering how sticky people get about others using the information from GM's Service Information database to help others? I know The General frowns upon us bestowed with their information giving it out to people who don't normally have access to it.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Chevrolet Forum.  I doubt that anyone on the forum cares if you provide info.  A lot of times it clears up misunderstandings or educates us.  Haven't seen anything that would be considered damaging to GM.  I guess in the final analysis you'll have to be the judge.

Like myself, it all comes from experience and probably seems like I'm reading it out of a book.
