Hi, my 2007 Silverado CrewCab came with the standard radio. After playing around with XM radio in my wife's Equinox, I like it. Went to get a aftermarket radio that supports XM, only to find out you need a special antenna cable ($130) the XM tuner ($100), etc. Does anyone know how much it is to get the GM XM radio installed? Do I just need the radio and all is well, or will I need additional parts anyway? Thanks!

Not sure about XM but if you don't care about the looks too bad you can get a Sirius plug and play unit for about 100 bucks comes with almost everything you need, except for the direct antenna input for the unit, can get one of those for 20 bucks

GM charges alot to retrofit with XM i asked one time, I cant remember the exact price, I jusr remember saying "HA, I dont think so." Go buy an FM modulated unit, comes with the digital unit, the GPS antenna and the fm modulator antenna theat goes over your radio antenna, I think it cost me $150 and it took an hour to install.
