bust7015 -> Info needed on a 396 factory intake (6/9/2005 2:21:38 PM)
I have aquired a 396 intake manifold. It's casting number is puzzling me. It is 3883948 X. I know that the numbers mean is was used on 67 and 68 396's. Does anyone know what the X is for? Thanks for any help or direction.

i know that in some brands an X means factory experimental, but that is surely not always the case.
