Unfortunatly you will be waiting a while, one of the main parts that I need is back ordered fo four weeks, but I plan on buiding the rest of the kit while I wait.

LOL I love your new signature Northey

I thought I would get some kicks before I built the thing and gain nothing but a hole in the check book.

ehhget -> RE: hydrogen (4/4/2008 2:54:27 PM)

Ha ha, I hear ya.  Well be smashing that thing against the wall before it has the chance to explode all over our engines!!!!

ehhget -> RE: hydrogen (4/4/2008 3:40:25 PM)

Northey or Chev- Do you guys plan on putting an amp guage on your system to adjust the amps?  I want to but I cant find a part to turn the amps up or down.  I have heard them called a pulse wave generator.

chev4by -> RE: hydrogen (4/4/2008 5:27:29 PM)

yah i would like something like that, just have to think of where to get one, and it will adjust how much hydrogen is being produced

ehhget -> RE: hydrogen (4/4/2008 5:37:29 PM)

Yeah, that way if your mix is a little off you can play with it to get the production you want.  I was thinking of a panel dimmer switch.

northey87 -> RE: hydrogen (4/4/2008 7:23:12 PM)

In my kit they tell you how to make one and it gets a signal from a potiniometer (something like that) on the throttle linkage so that when you accelerate it increases the amps to make more hydrogen to match the engines intake. I have seen control modules for sale online but I can't find the website, but I will keep looking.

my buddy today was playing with his system, on a vw bettle, he had it running at a very low rpm just barley going, hooked up his hydrogen and fed it in and it started reving at 1500 rpm, disconnected it and it went back to barley running, his system only puts out 1 liter a minute at the most, it ran smoother with hydrogen, when we had it reving up with just straight gas it didnt sound as smooth, good results i think
panel dimmer switch, do you no how many amps can those support?
