Is this pretty much over? I was hoping someone was going to have some success and report gas mileage that was quite impressive. Has anyone really gotten to that point? I guess I''m assuming if anything was really going on here there''d be an endless supply of posts on how to retrofit their cars with the Hydrogen thing. As it is all of these kits are being sold everywhere and they are apparently a scam.

Did you read the entire post? I am at the moment of trying a new circuit design. My last milage report was 25mpg city up from 17.5-18.5mpg.

This website just lost my entire post.. Not that I''m going to write it again.. Just want more highway miles for at least an hour for MPG and speed and the old MPG in the same stretch. City driving is way too subjective. Here''s a link on a pretty scientific discussion on whether this is even possible. Mostly negative but there are a few believers... http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=56705 Thanks.. Gary (original post was about 3 long paragraphs and the site just dumped it instead of posting it..)

Just another well written website that calls this all nonsense and has links to back it up is: http://www.aardvark.co.nz/hho.shtml I really am hoping the rumor about a radio frequency doing something is true because I''m becoming more convinced by the moment that there is no improvement here... Gary..

Let me try to explain this, you cannot get more energy from hydrogen than you put in, its physically impossible. What the goal is, is to use the energy from one fuel source (gas) to release energy from another source (hydrogen) to reduce the gas/air mixture to a gas/H2/air mixture so you use less gas. It''''s not to get more energy or power, its to use one fuel source to obtain a cheaper one. Think of how a nuclear power plant works. They use nuclear power (which costs about $0.005 per kWhr to produce) and transfer it as electrical (at a cost of ~$0.07 per kWhr) for a profit. Theyre converting one power source to another, except their goal isnt to lower fuel costs (or we''''d be on nuclear powered houses not electric), their goal is to turn a profit. We''''re effectively doing the opposite, heres an analogy, we''''re taking electrical (gas) at a higher price ($4/gal) to produce nuclear power (H2) at a lower cost (almost free) than electrical. Since our goal isn''''t profit, its lowered fuel cost. If that analogy makes sense. Whether it works or not, is obviously up to debate, but here''''s my take on it. You can''''t argue with real world results, these people can calculate all they want, but the fact of the matter is, you can''''t take *everything* in a real world situation into account... Its basically impossible, thats why we do experiments. I''''d like to see more people try these out, as a college student, I don''''t have an income thats readily disposable, and I''''ll be using less than 1 tank per month, this won''''t apply to me for another few years, or I''''d be building one myself. *edit* why are apostrophes coming out as quotation marks? apostrophe- '' quotation - "
