I saw it and they said he was using it to boost his gas mileage from 30 something to 40 something which implies he was still using gas. Looked like he had a mason jar with some wires to it and a hose coming off. Not sure I'd want a glass anything under the hood. Yeah, I know they used to have glass sediment bowls next to the carb but that was before underhood temps were hot enuf to grill steaks.
