Hello everyone. I'm new here. I did a bit of a search to try and fix what's wrong with my father-in-law's truck! It still won't start up! It just turns and turns and turns.

First we changed out the Crankshaft Position Sensor. No luck.

Second the Cables and Plugs. No Luck.

Then the ICM and Coil. Still no spark.

Went after Distributor and rotor. Nothing.

Not much left for us to change out besides the Computer I guess. I just want to be able to get a spark!

Anyone have any suggestions?

Oh, and for a little history he had problems with the starter before and installed a new one. Everything worked for for about a month, truck ran strong, then all of a sudden from the morning when he parked at work, until the afternoon when he was getting ready to take off home, the truck didn't want to start. There was P0336 and P0339 codes thrown, that's why we changed out the CKP Sensor.

Now we're not getting any codes at all.

Welcome to the forum!!! Have you checked the coil to see if it's getting any juice? Also, what's the model? year? engine? .......?

ii have a 96 w/the 350 vortec,  when it shut off w/ no spark the gm garage said to check the fuel pressure, some of these engines do this with low fuel pressure to prevent damage
