Who has done what performance upgrades and thier pro/con? All I've done so far is 40 series. Had a 2000 GMC 1500 Z71 5.3lt with intake, headers, hypertech, mass air flow upgrade, high flow cats, 40 series, and msd. Now I got 2007 silverado ext cab Z71 with 5.3. Any suggestions? Also, anyone put the Edge on the 07?

Welcome to the forum!!! I don't know what is good on the the '07's, but I put a flowmaster catback system and a S&B CAI on my '95, big improvement!!

Hi Welcome,I've done just the basics exhaust duals K&N cai i can tell the difference espesially at low end torque.

all ive done on my 07 z71 is put the flomaster 40 on... My dad has a 07 suburban (z71 as well) and he did hte exhaust and put the hypertech tuner on and his truck takes mine every time. I would absolutly recommend the tuner.

also, ive been in contact with whipple and they have told me that their supercharger for the new 5.3 is coming out within the next month or two (if your serious about upgrading)
