mine is runing strong at 105k previous owner (dad) was not very efficient in any service, I think he changed the oil a few time is all. I did a major 100k tune/spark/clean/grease/etc.... and have had no issues. I am expecting another 105k at a minimum. (Its my weekend play and boat pulling truck) not a daily driver. and a 94' 4.3 4x4

I have a 91 Sanoma 4x4 that I have chainged the oil on once I put a clutch in it tie rods, ball joints, front brakes, and tires. It has 148 thousand and is still running great. The starter is going out, has been for almost a year, but it still starts and runs everyday. I off road mine, I have pulled my 5x8 cargo trailer, several other cars, the heaviest being an 85 3x4 chevy. If you take care of it it should continue to run for a good while.

It's called a sonoma. Why have you only changed the oil once?

haha I had to read it a few times as well. I believe he meant that he has changed the oil (3-5K I assume) and ONCE he "put a clutch and tie rods..."

who knows I could be wrong...

NCHEVYHEVN was right I have only changed the oil once, and I hit the wrong key when I type Sonoma, I do know what it is called. If you want to know whay I don't change the oil, I don't need it, it has more rust on it than is worth spending the time or the money to fix, and I off road it. It still runs and drives great, but when it dies it dies. I have an 84 Dodge in better shape that gets better gas mileage. The engine needs rings but other than that their is minimal rust which I plan to fix. Then that will be my everyday vehicle. I have my Silverado to pull with which is going to get sold to I can buy a dually, and eventually a gooseneck. Unlike most people who only have one vehicle to drive themselves I have 3. So if one dies it's not going to hurt me to much.
