mine is runing strong at 105k previous owner (dad) was not very efficient in any service, I think he changed the oil a few time is all. I did a major 100k tune/spark/clean/grease/etc.... and have had no issues. I am expecting another 105k at a minimum. (Its my weekend play and boat pulling truck) not a daily driver. and a 94' 4.3 4x4

ORIGINAL: kcb37 I have a 91 Sanoma 4x4 that I have chainged the oil on once I put a clutch in it tie rods, ball joints, front brakes, and tires. It has 148 thousand and is still running great. The starter is going out, has been for almost a year, but it still starts and runs everyday. I off road mine, I have pulled my 5x8 cargo trailer, several other cars, the heaviest being an 85 3x4 chevy. If you take care of it it should continue to run for a good while. It's called a sonoma. Why have you only changed the oil once?

I believe he meant that he has changed the oil (3-5K I assume) and ONCE he "put a clutch and tie rods..." who knows I could be wrong...
