Hi,
I recently bought a 78 2-door with the wrap around rear window. The stock 305 was replaced with a 350 with an Edelbrock 4bbl carb, 700R4 Trans and a 10 bolt posi rear with 3.73 gears.  I was told the engine has the Edelbrock package with a 3/4 grind cam.  The thing is, I have no idea what that last part means.  Can someone explain what a 3/4 grind cam is and is it good?  I'm assuming it is because the car is a rocket.
Thanks

I have seen camshafts listed as 3/4 race and full race. I'm not sure if that is what your talking about?

The 3/4 race is recommended for strip and some street. The full race is recommended for strip only. That was on the Crower website.

I think Edelbrock has a web-site, you might talk to them. I'm not sure if they label their camshafts that way.
