My opinion is anytime you mess with the front suspension, get an alignment. Its not that expensive.

I have a 07 silverado 1500 ext cab. I went with the readylift 1.5" because everywhere I read that lift was recommended for keeping the factory ride and didn't change the suspension drastically, the local's said the same because of ease of install and uninstall if you take them off to trade the truck in. I had my local garage put them on for $30, the said it is a peice of cake. The lift is a spacer about 7/8" thick and it lifted the front 1 3/4", this kit makes it close to level, but not enough for me, It was still 1"+ higher in the back. I then took the factory blocks out from under the leafsprings in the rear and I love it it's within 3/8" from front to back. The factory blocks where the set on the axle are right at 1 1/4" thick. I will try to take pics tommorow.
