Of course it's pour rain today. My drivers side wiper is slipping and practically useless. How easy is it to replace the wiper transmission? Are there any temporary solutions? I work today but have all day tomorrow to deal with it. thanks, labmuttmix Okay, I'm a total knucklehead. After I posted, I called a local dealership. Turns out that the part that I thought was metal was actually plastic cover over the nut that locks the wiper onto the wiper transmission. Boy, am I glad I didn't drive into the dealership! LOL ---mutt

Glad you solved the problem. I was going to point you in the right direction, because I had the same problem, but glad you fixed it anyway!
