hey yall i need help - 2/18/2008 3:53:37 PM    dylanc   Posts: 7 Joined: 2/18/2008 Status: offline     im new here to the website uh really new to domestic vehicles actually most of the work i have done has been on japanese cars (honda and subaru) but im about to buy a 1990 chevy silverado 1500 from a neighbor for $400 it needs engine work and thats where im hoping yall come into play right now i just want specs on the truck. like engine type, size, blah blah but eventually unless i fix the knocking noise i might drop a new block into it. i dont want anything big just maybe the same one just not blown or anything. if yall could help me out that would be awesome. Most likley it has a 350 with a throttle body injection system. Check out Jasper among others for a rebuilt replacement. They have both direct replacement and higher performance packages as well.
