I just bought an 07 Aveo hatchback with a bent in left rear door. No airbags or seatbelts had deployed but the airbag light comes on then off then back on continuous. Dealer says no codes come up on OBDII charged $80.00  (Not covered by warrant due to damage) and said to replace the door and come back and plug it up again. Can this airbag system be reset? I don't understand why no codes scanned. Any help would be appreciated

If you take it to the dealer while the light is on, there should be a current code. Drive up when the light is on(there is a current problem), do not turn the car off so it doesn't have a chance to reset, and have them scan for codes.

I had a similar problem with my 2006.  First the Day Running Lights indicator blinked intermittenly.  Then the Air bag light came on and stayed lit.  Then this week the radio quit.  The service people have been great and trying to figure it out.  Today I found out the problem is the cluster.  Now I have to wait 2 weeks for my car and until then have to drive a gas guzzler.
Anyhow, have them check that.  I think it is a difficult piece to get to and they may not want to check it but if you still have warrenty I think it is worth it.

Maybe it's some fault In the airbags computer thing that doesn't show up on OBDII. Bad part is those things cost a lot :(
You should take care of it anyway not just cuz it's annoying but they might not deploy properly in case of a crah.
