thats what my suspension has been doing latley on my 97 k1500 burb.  im not sure if its the cold weather or sudden weather changes. (it was 29 yesturday and 63 today). but i know nothing about greasing 'em up or anything Thanks in advanced.

PS this is my dad's car, but it is my dream car and i have put so much work into his car he is giving it to me, but i want to make sure this baby will last.  This car seems to be problem after problem, and I want to keep this car till I die.   obviously you guys havn't had a car that long cause you are alive, but do you know how i can guarantee this car's life for ever.........well atleast till i am outa university, then i am rebuilding the whole thing.

If you don't know about greasing the joints, take it to a shop, have them put it on a hoist and see if they can grease the squeeky joint. If there is no grease nipple on it, then you may have to replace the joint to cure the noise.

Sudden cold snaps will make all kinds of odd things show up. When does it squeak? When it happens can mean a lot.
If you want to learn more, get a shop manual. A cheap Haynes manual can be of great help in just learning the basics and a bit beyond. (I get mine from www.half.com. I never pay full retail for books.)
A really loud squeal when you first start it is usually the belt on the engine. Again, check out a manual for more info than we can really do here right now.
