Well i have a 03 silverado 2500hd 4x4. I was coming home from a trip from tahoe and the coolant gauge was pegged out. I stopped to check if everything was ok and the truck was not overheating. I checked coolant lines to make sure it was circulating properly and everything was fine. So I ended up disconnecting the battery and it reset the coolant guage and ran fine till I got home. The next day after the truck had been sitting all night, long enough to cool down. The gauge read about 200. Is it the gauge or the sensor. Can I replace just the one gauge or do I have to replace the whole cluster. Thanks.
Daniel

on a lot of the 03 04's there is a coverage for the clusters up to 75,000 miles. check with your dealer to see if that is covered.
