improvisation, man. get the cheaper one and figure out how to put it where ever the hell you want it.

The best one I have ever used was a $10, window mounted, walmart antenna. It would easily send and recieve clear signals up to a 1/4 mile. Thats all the farther I needed it to go because we would use CBs to communicate durring "Model A" runs.
