I bought 2 airtex oxygen sensors at rock auto. They are the one wire type. Just to make sure it is okay, since the old one was a 4 wire I cut the harness on the old sensor, and spiced it with a butt conector to the new sensor. I used the far brown wire. Is this okay to do for now? is the brown wire the right one? Soon because I drive a lot I am going to get the 4 wire sensor but for now is the one wire okay and will it bring up my miles per gallon? I have one more question I see 3 oxygen sensors is this correct.

Thats correct. 3. You probably need to get an ACDelco O2 sensor because they are 4-wire. The one-wire sensors are not going to work right for long.
