Hello Everyone- Long time lurker. So I have a 2008 Tahoe LT. Black exterior with Black leather and woodgrain. Thanks to the post here I have learned to debadge. I have removed all badges and, for now, have kept lettering. I am having the emblems painted black at the dealer and have installed the GM Parts Hitch Cover. Here is what I am looking to do. I am open to any and all suggestions. - I am looking at the black billet grill. http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?attribute_value_string%7cColor=Black&attribute_value_string%7cGrille+Location=Main+Grille&attribute_value_string%7cStyle=Classic+Billet&canned_results_trigger=&partid=512155
- I want to remove the truck of all chrome exterior. This includes the grill surrounds. Can it be removed and painted?
- Most importantly, I want Black 22" rims but I cant picture a good rim on my Hoe. I would love to see some pics. Since black seems limited I am thinking of buying chrome and having them powder coated. Good idea or bad.
- I am having a 10" Sub built in to the rear access panel in the back section of the truck.

Take a look at my 24's in the classified section. It is the MOMO set. They would look Bad Azz on your black tahoe!

1. heres another black grille to consider. Ive always been a big fan of the street scene mesh grilles: http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?category%7ccategory_root%7c-25=Exterior&category%7ccat_-25%7c148=Grilles&attribute_value_string%7cFinish=Black+Chrome&canned_results_trigger=&selected_prod_ids=406&partid=515086 2. Yes, you can paint all the chrome pieces...theres a guy on full-size chevy who has done this to his silverado. http://www.****/forums/general-discussion/exterior-tech/280547-07-nnbs-silverado-black-painted-bumper-grille-bowtie.html 3. go to tirerack.com, and you can view rims on your truck...powdercoating wouldnt hurt anything, its just more money to spend... 4. consider looking into the JL Audio stealthbox. Its expensive, but might be cheaper then getting one custom built into the rear section.
