I have a 1992 Caprice with an old 305. I would like to put a blown 327 in it, but i don't if im going to need a cross member for the frame so the chassis doesn't twist or flex. The main problem is it has a 2" drop, and i putting dual exhaust on it and that would leave much room under there for cross braces. Is there another solution?

I would cost more but if you split your pipes agian and had them flattened over the crossmember. If you have enough room. I say split it again because you will still keep most if not all of your flow over a big choke point.
