DVD question please help!!

i recently bought a suburban LTZ an it is equipped with a GPS and a rear entertaiment system,  and im having a problem playing DVD's. i put the disc in the front gps system and the rear DVD tv turns on but its all black, and i cant figure out how to watch the dvd on the rear screen. i would really need some help, Thanks.

Make sure you're putting the DVD in the top slot where the CDs go.  The only disc that goes in the lower slot behind the screen is the Navigation DVD map disc.

I do put it in the right slot but it still dosent work. I try to use it will it is in park, is that what im doing wrong?

Bring it in to your dealer, there are a few comman problems with these trucks that will cause that problem. Ranging from a chaffed harness in the headliner, software update to the radio, to bad radio\overhead screen.
