I am new to the forum and i am in need of help with my 2005 TB. First the gas gauge quit working and i was told i needed a fuel lever sensor($125),then the engine light came on and it is the air injection pump ($285). I got an estimate from a shop and it will cost $772 with labor and tax to fix it. Also said i needed a check valve ($140).....check valve for what i dont know. Are these problems things i can do my self? what check valve are they talking about? I have changed fuel pumps before on a 97 monte carlo, but dont know whats all involved on a TB fuel lever sensor. Any comments will be helpful Thank you

With the fuel sensor, you have to take the gas tank off. If you feel comfortable doing this, then go right ahead, but i would pay for that. As far as the other stuff, i dont think its that hard for the air injection pump. Question the valve thing. Hope this was some help.
