I'm pretty sure it can be done. Finding a dealer willing to do it would be a little harder unless they installed it. Personally I've done it on a few chrystlers. Not positive about gm vehicles

Installing it is as simple as taking the old one out and putting the new one in. Only problem is your vehicle now has 100k on the clock. Personally I'd try to find one with less mileage or buy a brand new one if you plan on selling it anytime soon.

Hey speedometer sales and service  is an e-bay store that calibrates and fixes gauges. I have never tried them.
