Hello, I was installing a dvd/nav in a 2003 impala and after doing so the person realized the gauge cluster was not lighting up nor were his tailights. Brake lights still worked though!

Now of course the first thing I thought was "it must be a fuse", I checked the fuses by the dash and under the hood and they all looked fine. He said they would randomly come on and off though.

Help please!

EDIT: There were two wires that I didn't use because the aftermarket radio did not have matching wires. The two orange wires, Illumination and Dimmer
