I am looking to purchase an express passenger van soon for my band to tour with. And was wondering 1. why GM does not offer a diesel option on the passenger van 2. is there a way to get a diesel passenger van with the duramax in it.

An option for a diesel passenger, is to get a deisel cargo with all the windows, then do an aftermarket custom fit.

I have read about a lot of people doing this, but I didn't have much luck when I searched for custom kits when I had a cargo.

Adding windows to the cargo was expensive, so the factory option when you buy one is the best deal.

If you are handy you could even cusomize the inside yourself. You may want factory air and heat for the back as well.

I think you can order a bench seat or two with the cargo also.

Just some ideas. Too much work for me.

You may even find the interior from a salvage yard or something.

YMMV
